English-born and now based in Tuscany, Italy, Susan is well known for her horse block sculptures in both clay and bronze. One of Susan's most notable bronze sculptures is 'Poppy the War Horse' a memorial which stands in Ascot to remember the horses, mules and donkeys and the role they played and the suffering they endured during WWI.
